2017 Cadillac Escalade AC blows warm on one side – rear system works fine, front doesn't
Quote from nickmadison on May 25, 2026, 1:07 pmI've got a 2017 Escalade that's been great for family trips, but the front AC has started acting up. The rear system blows ice cold no problem, but the front vents are only lukewarm at best. The temperature doesn't seem to change whether I set it to LO or 60 degrees. I've checked the refrigerant level and it seems okay. I'm wondering if it could be a blend door actuator issue or maybe a problem with the front expansion valve. I took it to a local shop in Dubai and they said they don't really work on Cadillacs. A friend recommended a cadillac air conditioning repair sharjah shop that specializes in American SUVs. Has anyone here had a similar issue on an Escalade or Tahoe where the front AC isn't cold but the rear works fine? What ended up being the problem? I'm trying to get an idea of what I'm looking at cost wise before I take it in. The car has about 95k kilometers on it and is otherwise in great shape. I'd rather not take it to the dealer because I know they'll charge a fortune just to diagnose. If you know a good AC specialist in Sharjah for Cadillac or GMC, please share. I need to get this fixed before summer really hits because the kids are complaining every time we go anywhere. Thanks in advance.
