What are the low maintenance perennials which actually live through heat waves?
Quote from abodelook on February 26, 2026, 6:15 amMy front yard is not as green anymore since the heat was there. I am attempting to look far into future and something that looks exotic but is hardy. I was reading a guide on abodelook on drought-tolerant landscapes and I noticed Crocosmia. Are they really so set it and forget it as we say? In particular, I am seeking something that would go well with ornamental grasses. Unless you have recently purchased bulbs or starts, I want to know whether they are adapted to the entire afternoon sun, or whether I shall have to seek some shade.
