Which software is better for drafting AutoCAD or Revit?

In all honesty, the choice of AutoCAD or Revit is based on your individual work-flow. If you need to draft quick 2D plans, need to draft renovation plans or simply have project requirements which need line drawings, not a complete model, AutoCAD is still a solid choice. Conversely, Revit is a better choice when there are deadlines on BIM coordination and 3D visualizations if you have a detailed quantity schedule relating to the project especially for larger residential or commercial projects. I also see a lot of contractors using both to simply use the software they are more comfortable with or farm out certain pieces of the constructibility design to save time, labor or software expenses while online drafting services. What do you generally use, and do you find one has a real advantage over the other?
